We tend to have as much fun as possible at our shows as well as show off our horses. Here are a few candid shots we've gotten at our shows as well as fun days in the pasture.

My friends (Lou Day and Janet Mahas) got together after the show season to just drive and have fun. Lou has a green driving horse and Janet is just learning to drive. So we got together 2-3 times a week and just had a blast!

Carver's first leadline class. He was 13 months old. He got a 2nd place and managed to stay on (I was back getting ready to catch him). But he's a natural when it comes to riding! He's riding Grandma Lou's Goldman.

Bugs out in the pasture just having a blast. He managed to find some dirt and get down and dirty. Then take off and run. He was so much fun to watch!

Carver having a late night at the Blackfoot show in 2009. We didn't get around to showing ponies the first day until about 10:30pm. He's a trooper though! I think we didn't get into bed until close to 1am that morning as liberty still had to follow the pony halter classes.

Me and Ms. Lilly in the costume class the first year we started showing. I taught her to bow and showed her as my trick chicken. It was fun and I had a good time!

Hitching Paul for the first time at the Blackfoot show. It was our first show together and a learning experience. I had a blast and am definately addicted to driving ponies now! And Paul is just a good boy to teach me the ropes.

Carver's very first show! He was 3 months old and I dressed him up as the saber tooth tiger. I'm not sure he knows what he was born into! Haha! But by the time he was 3 months old, he'd been carted to 4 different mini shows (one included an 11 hour ride 1 way to Powell, WY.). He definately has a lot of "aunts" and "uncles" as everyone was so nice to pitch in and help watch while I was preparing to show.

Our clubs put on a fun show in April 2009. I decided to have a little fun myself and run Kirby in barrels. It was a blast and Kirby was a willing participant. Think we lost by 20 seconds. His little legs can only go so fast! But was a great way to introduce new people to the fun world of showing miniature horses!
