We have always loved watching the ponies in the show ring. In 2008, we acquired our first shetland to show. And we fell in love! We plan on adding a few more to the herd in the years to come.

We want to thank Terry Petersen and Jerry DeChamp for allowing us to purchase this wonderful Shetland. This is our first Shetland and we fell in love immediately with the show ring! RJ is a great Shetland! We hope to have a driving debute in 2009. RJ has already been started in jumper as well as halter. We plan on having him drive, jump, walk/trot, leadline, and just be a great overall horse for our family.

***RJ has already had a successful show season this year. We only hit 2 shows, but managed to get a supreme champion as well as a senior grand champion gelding! We also took a 2nd our first time jumping!***

We can't thank Jennifer from Sweet Opal Shetlands enough for allowing us to have Paul. Paul is a kid safe road pony and is a great teacher for anyone wanting to learn to show. I have always loved watching the roadster classes, but never had a horse capable enough to compete in them. Until...we found Paul! Watch for use in the 2009 ripping around the show ring!
