Training offered at Rhinestone Miniatures
We have opened up for training for a limited number of horses. Below is a range of my fees depending on the training. Fees are flexible depending on the horse as well client preferences. Please contact me with specifics and we can work something out. I have available references from past clients. I encourage my clients to come take lessons with their horse. Your horse may be able to do something for me, but the true idea of training is having horse and client work as one. I do include weekly updates as well as pictures via email on training horses. Video is available upon request. Horses are worked and groomed daily. I do work exclusively with the horse and give honest answers. So if I feel your horse will not be a safe driving prospect, I will let you know. As of right now, I do take in a limited number of horses for training to show. I attend local and region shows at this moment. I also offer basic training to get your horse on the right path towards a show or family prospect.
Driving training- $250 month (90 day driving horses are exposed to road driving (ie, dogs, cars, horses, and other spooky wonders outside of the pasture). They go home green broke, but with several miles already accumulated).
Board- $50 month (Charged to horses while in training. Board includes bedding, hay, beet pulp & safe choice grain. I include Super 14 coat/hoof supplements as well as tube worming. All other supplements or extras are responsibility of the client).
All other basic training- $150 month (This would include halter, jumping/hunter & obstacle training. This would also include basic ground work/manner lessons on horses who may be wild or unruly in their behavior. I do natural horsemanship lessons with these horses).
Body Clipping- $50 per horse/clipping (This is a basic all over body clip for show preparation. I do not do face sculpting).
Farrier- $20 per horse (This is charged to horses while in my care for basic hoof care. If special farrier work is needed, please contact me for more information).
I do offer catch handling for horses at the shows. Contact me for more information.
Group Lessons-$150 (usually includes 8 1-hour lessons or 8 hours of group lessons. So a day training. Gas extra if going a long distance).
Lessons-$50 (usually 1-2 hours one on one training lessons. Gas extra if going a long distance).
